I am a family-man living in Upminster. In January 2010 I was diagnosed with Leukaemia. During my first stay in hospital the Registrar called in my wife to tell her that they had done all they could and that nothing was working and so she should prepare herself for the very worst. My wife's reply was to the effect "Thank-you for the facts. However, we are Christians and believe that Tony will recover." Following a 2nd course of chemotherapy and bone-marrow transplant I was formally confirmed to be in remission in December. There is always hope.

Unfortunately I lost my job. My former employers contending my job had ..."disappeared." rather than saying I was being made redundant. So employment proceedings have been issued!
